New Book

Very happy and excited to announce the publication of my new book

“Overdue: A Dewey Decimal System of Grace”. It’s available through Liturgical Press (lit press.org) or Amazon.

I’m grateful for the people I met in prison who inspired this book and who continue to inspire me, and for my publisher’s faith in giving me a voice.

  1. Valerie-I just finished “Overdue” and thoroughly enjoyed it! I do a lot of volunteer work at the Dorothy Day homeless shelter in St. Paul, MN— where many of the residents have prison backgrounds.

It was very interesting to get inside prison perspectives from a non-inmate, non-staff person. Very well written, very easy to read, very true, and very enjoyable!

BTW-I am a daily reader of give us this day. They did a very nice job promoting your book.

  2. I just finished reading Overdue, thank you for such great work. With so much information in your head, I wouldn’t have known how to organise it to write a clear and concise book. Thank you for your care and love for the imprisoned. Many blessings to you.
I tell you that I waited awhile to get the book because my husband didn’t want me to get another until I finished a couple on my shelf. It was a treat to read it. 🙂
